Designed for elevated mountain living, the home’s exterior showcases a harmonious balance of luxury landscaping, custom hardscaping, and architectural detailing, all curated to complement the surrounding alpine scenery while evoking the romance of the Mediterranean.
The exterior design features Mediterranean-inspired landscaping with sculptural aloe plants, natural stone elements, and thoughtfully placed bamboo accents that soften the rugged mountain terrain. Custom hardscaping pathways and terraces lead to inviting outdoor living areas furnished with bamboo and wood outdoor furniture, enhancing the home’s connection to nature. A rich wood-paneled ceiling anchors the covered outdoor spaces, while warm, earthy color palettes reflect the hues of the Colorado landscape and Mediterranean coastal villas alike.
Architectural highlights include custom double-entry wood doors, handcrafted to make a bold statement and reinforce the home’s Western elegance. Luxury exterior lighting design was carefully integrated to accent architectural lines, illuminate pathways, and create a welcoming ambiance at dusk. The result is a seamless blend of Mediterranean exterior design, mountain modern luxury, and Western craftsmanship, offering a distinctive Colorado mountain home that feels both worldly and timeless.

This full-home transitional redesign was a "fresh start" for our client who live in Castle Pines, Colorado, from top to bottom. We transformed the entire living space to reflect a timeless approach to modern living that is comfortable, elevated, and beautifully balanced. 

From the inviting main living spaces to the serene bedrooms and spa-inspired bathrooms, this home blends classic architectural details with clean contemporary finishes to deliver warmth, sophistication, and everyday livability. A soft, neutral color palette, layered textures, tailored millwork, and thoughtfully curated lighting establish cohesion throughout the home while allowing each space to feel distinct and intentional. 

The transitional design style bridges traditional comfort with modern simplicity, making the home both refined, durable and family-friendly. The redesigned light and bright kitchen by HouseHome is a warm, elevated interpretation of modern functionality, layered with natural wood, quartz surfaces, custom tilework, and leather accents for a refined yet approachable aesthetic. 

A soft, natural color palette enhances the openness of the space, while the interplay of organic textures and clean-lined cabinetry creates a balance of warmth and sophistication. The wood cabinetry adds depth and character, quartz countertops deliver durability and luxury, and the carefully selected tile backsplash introduces subtle visual movement without overpowering the design. Leather-wrapped details and thoughtfully curated hardware bring a tactile richness that elevates the kitchen while maintaining an inviting, lived-in feel.
